✈️ 3 must-haves for your Mexico vacation

Published 9 months ago • 2 min read

While summer is winding down in many parts of the world, it’s still going strong in Playa del Carmen with no end to high temperatures in sight! ☀️

So if you’re planning to extend your summer with a visit to Mexico in the coming months, this week's email will help you prep for your trip!

I recently wrote up a new blog post with a list of 17 Mexico travel essentials you should consider packing for your next vacation.

These are small yet essential items that you can pick up easily on Amazon, and will help you to have a stress-free vacation in Mexico!

👉 Click here to read it now

Here are the top 3 items on the list:

1. Biodegradable Sunscreen

Biodegradable sunscreen is absolutely essential if you are planning on swimming or snorkeling in the ocean.

Regular sunscreen is prohibited on most snorkeling tours and at the Xcaret parks because it can contain harmful chemicals that can damage the fragile marine environment.

So, you'll want to bring along some biodegradable reef-safe sunscreen to protect both your skin and the environment.

2. Water Shoes

Water shoes are a must if you're planning on visiting cenotes or any of the Xcaret adventure parks in Riviera Maya.

Plus, some beach areas can also be rocky, so they can come in handy even if you're just heading to the beach.

Trust me, you will be WAY more comfortable with water shoes than walking around barefoot!

3. Belt Bag

A belt bag (aka fanny pack) is also a great item to bring with you to keep your personal items secure as petty theft is not uncommon in Mexico.

It's a very convenient way to keep your phone, wallet, and other items safe and secure while shopping or out and about.

I personally use the Lululemon Everywhere Belt Bag but there is also a really good look-a-like on Amazon that I've linked in the article!

So those are my top 3 must-haves for a Mexico beach vacation!

Be sure to check out my blog post for a full list of items and links to specific product recommendations.

As always, if you have any questions or need help with your Mexico travel plans, feel free to hit reply and let me know!

I read every email and I'm always happy to help.

¡Hasta pronto!

Allison

I can't believe it's already the middle of November. It's hard to think about the upcoming holidays when it's still so warm and sunny here in Playa del Carmen! Last week, my mom came to visit me and we went to Cozumel for a few days. We stayed at Hotel B Unique, which is a boutique adults only hotel located right on the water. The views are absolutely incredible, and we couldn't get enough of the oceanfront infinity pool. You can read my full review here for all the details! Unfortunately,...
