๐ด Why Holbox should be on your Mexico bucket list
As I'm sure you're aware, there are so many events happening around the world right now.
One of those being the ongoing situation in Israel. My heart goes out to all those affected and I hope for a peaceful resolution soon.
On a lighter note, I recently returned from a few days in Holbox, Mexico.
If you're not familiar with it, Holbox (pronounced "Hole-bosh") is a small island located just off the northern coast of the Yucatan Peninsula.
It takes about 2.5 hours to get there from Playa del Carmen but it's soooo worth it!
The beaches in Holbox are absolutely dreamy with really shallow clear water that seems to never end ๐
Plus, the island consists of dirt roads and golf carts instead of cars, giving it a really laid-back and relaxed vibe.
You'll just need to be prepared to be unplugged as there's very limited wifi and cell service on the island!

Honestly, Holbox gets better every time I visit and I highly recommend adding it to your Mexico travel bucket list.
It is truly a hidden gem that shouldn't be missed!
